My First Time Trying It!

ree

Vietnamese iced coffee, from Mi-Sant in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Vietnamese iced coffee is very well-known, but surprisingly, I've never had it before. You can find it in many Asian restaurants across the Twin Cities, and you can even buy a kit for at home use. I stopped by Mi-Sant for some appetizers and instead of getting bubble tea, I decided to get the Vietnamese iced coffee instead.

I was really excited because I knew that Vietnamese iced coffee is made strong! And you all know I love my coffee on the stronger side. Vietnamese iced coffee is usually medium-dark roast. The first sip really blew me away. It was indeed strong, and robust. Another thing to note, it was also very sweet. The sweetness comes from the condensed milk used. It took me a few sips to get used to the rich flavor, but I kind of liked it. I think if it were up to me, I would have my Vietnamese iced coffee with less condensed milk for reduced sweetness.

There're many more places I'd like to try out, so I've got some work to do
