I was feeling a little spontaneous this morning and wanted to try something new. So when I got to Spyhouse Coffee, I told the barista I liked sweet drinks and asked for a recommendation. I was then recommended the Spygirl Latte. Cool name! And let me tell you, this may be my new favorite drink.

The Spygirl Latte is flavored with lavender and honey. Now when I think of lavender, household cleaning supplies or candles come to mind. Doesn't sound very tasty to me! But I'm positive this drink wasn't created to taste like household scents. Let's just give it a try! The Spygirl Latte has a good balance of floral notes and a nutty taste. The lavender component is lightly aromatic and subtle. The taste of honey can be overpowering but in this particular drink, it's pleasantly sweet. I usually go for a more intense latte, but I really enjoyed this one. It was a nice switch up. I would definitely recommend the Spygirl Latte!

I'm always on the lookout for new coffee shops to try. It's a challenging time right now with the pandemic we're in, but I have faith that we can get back to a safer world soon. If you have any local coffee shops I should try in the future, let me know! ❤
