Understanding what you want, and how to book an appointment!

Booking your own nail appointment sounds simple. But in reality, I think many people struggle to do so. There's a handful of people who only get their nails done for special occasions, they hop around to various nail salons, or perhaps received a gift card and are just looking to get something done. What's important is that you know what service you want, and if you currently have any products on your nails. Each service takes a certain about of time to compete, so booking the correct appointment is crucial.

Here are some good questions to ask yourself: Do I want regular polish or gel polish? Standard manicure or spa manicure? Acrylic nails or hard gel nails? Any nail art or Swarovski crystals? The list goes on. If you are a salon hopper, you should know what type of products you have on so the next technician knows how to prepare for your service. Sometimes nail techs fail to educate clients on what type of products/services they are doing. And that's wrong. It's something nail techs should be doing as part of our customer service to you. Many standard salons will offer complimentary consultations. So if you are unsure of what service you want or what products you have on, request to see a technician ahead of time.

Many nails techs are booked back to back. In order to give you the best customer service or possibly upgrade your appointment to better serve you, make sure you know what you want and need. I've said this before, so do your research! Asking the right questions when booking will help, too!! Trust me, this will make your overall experience more pleasant and enjoyable
