Getting A Little More than I Expected

It was mid-March, and I found out that our salon would be closing because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before Governor Tim Walz put a shelter-in-place, I decided to brighten up my mood by getting some delicious coffee to-go. And plus, it was a way for me to support our local businesses that were also hurting.

You should know by now that I love everything 'extra fancy'. I mean, why not? So of course, I go to Cafe Astoria. They have a great presence here in the Twin Cities and I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Though, I've never ordered anything to-go before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered from their 'Secret" menu which contains super fancy, handcrafted drinks. I picked up the order and sat down in my car. Out of curiosity, I opened the lids of my to-go cups and, voilà. My 24K Latte and Campfire Latte was sitting beautifully in the cups.

I was low-key thinking our barista wasn't going to make the drinks pretty because it was a to-go order. But honestly, it was such a lovely surprise. It made me so happy! So, I'm sorry for doubting! Honestly, it's little things like this really goes a long way for me, and I truly appreciate it ❤
